Admission Criteria
Admission Process
The Medical Assistant program is an open-enrollment program, with students admitted at the beginning of each spring semester. Students must be TSIA complete in reading, writing, and math, and all prerequisite courses must be completed with at least a grade of C in each course. Any failed classes must be repeated with a passing grade prior to starting the program. For allowable course substitutions, please contact the program director.
Please Note: You must be 18 years of age prior to beginning clinical rotations.
Admission to the College
You must Become a Student at 91次元 to begin the Medical Assistant program.Prerequisite Courses
- ENGL 1301 Freshman Composition or ENGL 2311 Technical/Business Writing or POFT 1301 Business English
- BIOL 2404 Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology or BIOL 2401 Anatomy & Physiology I AND BIOL 2402 Anatomy & Physiology II
- HPRS 1206 or HITT 1205 Medical Terminology
- PHRA 1309 Pharmaceutical Math
- HPRS 2331 General Health Professions Management
