Alerts & Outages

To minimize disruptions, ISS monitors the health of IT systems and services. Should a service interruption occur, a notification will be posted to Tech Support. Past, resolved issues, are listed below.

Alert Type Alert Symbol Alert Description
Normal Service Normal Service is functioning as expected.
Degraded Degraded Service Some service functions are downgraded. The service may still be used; however, some items may not work as expected.
Outage Service Outage Service is no longer functioning and is unusable.
Scam Scam Alert v2 Scam alert received. Be aware.
Maintenance Maintenance Service may not work as expected, during this time. Scheduled maintenance is published on Maintenance.

November

  1. 11/24/25: Employee Email Degraded
    • 11:37 AM: This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 11:17 AM: ISS staff are investigating issues with Employee Email. You may be seeing some intermittent issues.
  2. 11/18/25: Softdocs Etrieve Degraded
    • 1:43 PM: The vendor has reported that Softdocs Etrieve is back up and running. Monitoring continues, but everything is operating normally. This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 11:54 AM: The status is unchanged.
    • 9:21 AM: The vendor has reported that Softdocs Etrieve continues to operate at a Degraded Performance status. It may be up and down for a period of time. ISS staff will report back when we know more.
    • 7:35 AM: ISS staff and the vendor are working to restore access to Softdocs Etrieve. The vendor reports this issue is due to a Cloudflare outage impacting many of their clients. They are monitoring the situation. ISS staff will report back when we know more.

October

  1. 10/29/25: Barracuda (SPAM Filter) Degraded
    • 7:05 PM: This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 11:38 AM: Barracuda is investigating issues affecting the Email Gateway Defense web interface. At this time, you are unable to view quarantine message logs. You can follow Barracuda's official status page for real-time information: . ISS will update once the service is fully restored.
  2. 10/25/25: Employee Email Outage
    • 9:05 AM: This issue is RESOLVED. Queued email is being delivered and things are working.
    • 8:37 AM: ISS staff have identified the issue and are implementing a fix.
    • 8:24 AM: ISS staff are investigating an issue with Employee email that prevents people from logging in.
  3. 10/14/25: KnowBe4 (Cybersecurity Training) Degraded
    • 2:10 PM: This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 1:25 PM: KnowBe4 is still working to resolve the issue. Some services have been restored, but the overall system status remains degraded.
    • 8:22 AM: The KnowBe4 website is currently experiencing outage issues. You may be unable to sign in to complete your Cybersecurity Training until the issue is resolved.
  4. 10/9/25: Softdocs Etrieve Outage
    • 11:24 AM: This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 9:10 AM: We have determined this to be an Etrieve issue and have reached out to the vendor. They are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
    • 7:57 AM: ISS staff are investigating a login issue with Softdocs Etrieve.
  5. 10/3/25: Colleague UI Web (and related services) Outage
    • 10:24 AM: This issue is RESOLVED.
    • 10:03 AM: ISS staff have initiated a full reboot of Colleague. This will cause MyMCC and other services to stop working while the reboot happens.
    • 9:59 AM: ISS staff believe they have identified the problem and are working to implement the fix. Other services that are depend on Colleague may be having issues as well. Examples: Informer, MyMCC.
    • 9:41 AM: ISS staff are investigating login issues with Colleague UI web.
