Pi Chi Recognition & History

December 3, 2025 | MCC's De-Stress Fest

Phi Theta Kappa students huddled together to pose for a picture behind a Phi Theta Kappa table cloth, displays, buckets of uncooked beans, and candy.

Phi Theta Kappa participated in the De-Stress Fest to help students prepare for finals by giving candy to those brave enough to visit our table in the cold, put hands in buckets filled with uncooked beans, and find PTK wooden tokens made in MCC's Makerspace.

October 31, 2025 | Trunk-or-Treat (Tied with TSA for Best Trunk)

MCC's Pi Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa gave candy, entertained, and took photos with hundreds of children, families, and students on Halloween. It was a great time. Plus, PTK tied with TSA for best trunk.

October 2025 | MCC's Sustainability Gardening Project (Science Building Flower Beds)

Students, faculty, and staff wearing gardening gloves in front of a building with flower beds.

Phi Theta Kappa's Pi Chi chapter worked with MCC's Sustainability program to plant flowers in the Science Buildings' flower beds. Lots of fun and went by quickly with so many helpful and eager students, faculty, and staff to make the campus more beautiful (and green).
